ERHWSC 2018 WATER QUALITY REPORT LINK

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO REPORT LINK

On September 23, 2019, at 6:00 a.m. East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation (PWS ID 0310096) and Arroyo City (PWS ID 0310031) will change our primary disinfectant from "Chloramines" to "Free Chlorine". The change in disinfectant is conducted as an annual distribution maintenance procedure in order to reduce nitrification, taste, and odor issues throughout our distribution system. It will take time after the change in disinfectants for the conversion to take place in the distribution system. We will be using free chlorine for a 30 day period. The 30 day period will end on the morning of October 24, 2019. After that time period ERHWSC will revert back to Chloramines for our disinfection process. During this conversion process, both to and from free chlorine, a stronger chlorine/bleach odor may be apparent in your drinking water, as these odors are a product of the breakdown of chloramine by free chlorine. All regulatory requirements will be adhered to during this process in regards to the level of chlorine in your drinking water. E.R.H.W.S.C. advises any customers with medical conditions affected by Free Chlorination to consult medical professionals in regards to any affects concerning consuming chlorinated drinking water. Create an Account - To pay your bill online customers will have to setup an account on the new site, just visit www.erhwsc.com then select the Pay My Bill and click the Register button if you are a first time user. Once you set up your account, you'll be able to view and pay your bill online. You can also use our iOS or Android App. Once your account is setup you will be able to:erh img building 2

  • Pay by Electronic Check – Use this option to make a one-time payment using an online electronic check.
  • Make a One-Time Payment – This feature enables you to make a one-time payment using a credit/debit card, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
  • Manage Multiple Properties - If you manage several properties you will be able to make payments for multiple properties with a single transaction.
  • View Payment Usage and Payment History - You can easily review your payment and billing history online.
  • Print or e-mail Payment Receipts – customers will be able to view and Print past payments.

*No additional fees will be charged for payments using credit and debit cards. ERHWSC does not accept American Express at this time.In addition to the online payment option, ERHWSC's customer service will continue to accept existing methods of payments: by mail, in-person at 206 Industrial Pkwy, by telephone, as well as other online payment opportunities.
